A deeply nourishing body cream that’s clinically proven to keep skin hydrated for up to 24 hours* – and suitable for extra-sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Packed with biomimicking Ceramides to support the skin barrier, this dermatologist approved formula builds resilience and brings all day comfort and calm.

We reformulated our body cream for more intensive hydration and enhanced barrier repair, adding high-performing actives including Ceramides, Oat Extract and Squalane into the mix. And its delicate and uplifting fragrance – a unique, low-allergen aromatic blend with Juniper Berries and Petitgrain – was developed by our very own chemists, and most importantly won’t upset uncomfortable or irritated skin.

Directions

Massage into clean, dry skin. Reapply as required. For hot skin conditions, try keeping your body cream in the fridge. After sun exposure or irritation, we like to add 2-3 drops of Rosehip Bioregenerate™ to help speed up skin recovery.

Awful in every way

"I thought the Polly Plum packaging was just being replaced with the new dreadful dispensers, which I could mostly live with, but the formula is different and for me, it’s just awful comparatively. It’s so greasy and lightweight, does not absorb, and is a type of lotion I personally stay away from. How am I the only reviewer (that used Polly Plum) saying this about the texture? People are saying it’s comparable in the richness and feel - to me, it feels exactly like shea butter. Polly Plum was everything."

Perfect eczema lotion for kids

"My daughter has eczema. The only lotion she could tolerate as a baby was the Baby Pai lotion. After it was discontinued, we struggled to find a lotion her skin would tolerate. It’s finally here! Gentle Genius calms her eczema and it doesn’t leave a yucky residue, so she loves using it! And for me, who is scent sensitive, its light natural scent is lovely."

Awkward packaging

"A nice cream, which sinks in well. However I found it to be expensive for what it does and can get similar results with cheaper products. Maybe people with problem dryness would see more benefits. I also struggled with the packaging, which I found hard to squeeze, especially as the product ran out. It is also not possible to get the last bit of cream out when you come to the end. The style of the packaging was an nice idea but maybe a tube would be better."

Lovely cream - dreadful container

"Lovely cream although the previous cream -Polly Plum was as good but cheaper . Why on earth would you think this is a replacement !!! It’s impossible to squeeze the cream out as the plastic is rigid and there’s too much unnecessary plastic in the cap. My husband has had to cut the tube so I can decant into another container. Your development department has not thought this through . I can see that I am not the only one to note this so come on Pai - sort this or preferably bring back the previous Polly Plum"

Great product. Let down by the dispenser.

"I was disappointed when Polly Plum was discontinued, however I was pleasantly surprised by the Gentle Genius body cream. It's rich and leaves my skin feeling soft snd hydrated. I find I don't need to use a lot. Unfortunatly, it's let down down by the impractical dispenser. It's difficult to squeeze out the cream. I saw another review pionting out this same issue. I would have given a 5 star rating were it not for the impractical dispenser."
